Scheduling a Deposition

Need to schedule a deposition? Following are a few easy steps to complete.

Scheduling the Meeting

1. From the Calloquy Dashboard, click either of the buttons labeled Schedule a Meeting.

Or, from a Case page, click the Schedule button.

2. Complete all required fields.

Meeting Details

1. Once you are on the Schedule a Meeting page, fill out the form, making sure to select Deposition for Meeting Type and complete the other required fields. 

  • Once Deposition is selected, you'll be presented with the option to request a Calloquy Court Reporter.

2. Once this form is filled out, click Schedule Meeting to move to the next step.


  • Using the Schedule button from within a case will pre-fill the Case Name field, and this will not be changeable.
  • If No Case option is selected, the meeting type will not be changeable to Deposition until a case is selected.
  • When scheduling a Deposition meeting type on the Calloquy platform, you must select a participant as a Witness in order to proceed with scheduling or updating the Deposition.
  • For Deposition meeting types, a Witness participant must be present. On the dashboard Meeting Details page when you hover over the Witness and click the Remove Participant option, a system alert notifies you that a new Witness must be selected before the Deposition is scheduled to begin.

Request a Court Reporter

If you would like for Calloquy to provide a Court Reporter for your Deposition, we ask that you provide some information for us.

  • Will you be using the Realtime Transcription viewer?

  • Do you need the Transcript expedited?

  • Phone Number

  • Notice

Once this information has been provided in the form presented, click Next to proceed.

Note: Adding a Court Reporter while scheduling is very important as they are the one that will be Starting/Stopping Recording during the meeting.

Select Participants

1. From the Select Participants page, select who will be invited to the meeting. 

2. Once you have added all invitees, click the Review Invite button.


1. Once you are sure the information is correct, click the Schedule Meeting & Invite Participants button. The Meeting will be added to your Calloquy calendar, and invite emails will be sent.



  • Participants can be added or removed once the meeting is scheduled, but invite emails cannot be unsent, so make sure to invite only those participants who should be invited.
  • Participants of an upcoming Deposition being hosted on the Calloquy platform will now receive an email reminder 15 minutes before the scheduled Deposition start time with their unique link to join the proceeding.
